Childcare providers are requested to implement the following guidance, consistent with new requirements by federal guidance.

Requirements to follow

Deny stay to any person who meets any of the following criteria:
 

• A temperature of 100.0°F or above.
   

• Signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection include a cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and low-grade fever.

 

• If you cannot go to work because of any sickness or symptoms, do not bring your child(ren) or yourself to daycare.
   

• In the previous 14 days, he has had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, is under investigation for COVID-19, or is ill with a respiratory illness.
   

• In the previous 14 days, he has traveled internationally to countries or other states with widespread, sustained community transmission.
